Settlement time estimator

Different rails settle at wildly different speeds. Pick the asset you want to receive and see how long each path takes — and which one Loadit's AI router would choose.

Deliver as
Loadit (HQ-routed)
~1 second
HQ auto-selects the fastest viable path — here, lightning.
Available paths, fastest first
Lightninginstant, off-chain
~1 second
Solanasub-second blocks
~2 seconds
XRPL3–5s ledger close
~4 seconds
Base (L2)rollup finality
~6 seconds
Polygonfast, low fee
~15 seconds
Ethereum L1congestion-dependent
~3 minutes

A naive path could take ~3 minutes. Routing picks the ~1 second path automatically.

Illustrative estimates of typical settlement/finality under normal conditions. Actual times vary with network congestion and confirmation requirements. Loadit's HQ engine selects the fastest viable route per transaction.

Why settlement speed varies so much

“Settlement” is when a payment becomes final. The Lightning Network and high-throughput chains like Solana reach finality in about a second; Ethereum L1 takes minutes and spikes with congestion; Bitcoin on-chain waits for confirmations; bank ACH takes 1–3 business days. The fastest path for a given asset changes with network conditions.

Loadit's HQ engine evaluates the viable paths for each transaction and routes over the fastest one automatically. Curious about the cost side? Use the transaction cost calculator.
